Personally, I would not use cottage cheese due to its ‘watery’ texture. However, you can replace goat cheese with cream cheese and it would taste amazing! hope this helped.

hey! Phyllo dough …
hey! Phyllo dough is very delicate so usually I use 2-3 sheets superposed to roll my briwat. You have to use ‘light’ touch and a lot of melted butter to soften it up. In this video I used Spring Roll Pastry (that is used for chinese spring rolls) and this one is easy to use. I personally prefer the phyllo for sweet briwat and spring roll pastry for salty briwat. Please try them again with this dough and I guarantee you it will work fine. after few times of practice bring the phyllo back

Dear Alia, what a …
Dear Alia, what a wonderful idea to share the scenery with us! Thanks!
I also liked the way you showed exactly how to roll the Briwat.
You know, I tried the sweet Briwat with walnuts and used fillo dough, but it was a mess…
I kept tearing the dough although I tried to be very careful and keep it humid. Well, maybe I just need some practice… I managed to do some anyway and they tasted really good!
Thank you!
